Using Webmail (including Horde and Squirrelmail).
If on the road or away from your usual computer, you can still check your email by logging into your WebMail panel.
Simply visit yourdomain.com/webmail (replacing "yourdomain.com" for your website's address, of course) and use your full email address and password to log in. From there, you are given two choices of email programs (Horde and Squirrelmail). They both serve the same purpose, and are a matter of personal preference (most of our users prefer Horde).
Note: Email in your webmail account remains on the server until you download it into your computer's email program (such as Outlook or Outlook Express). Once you download email, it will not be available on the server. Likewise, if you delete an email in webmail, it will not be downloaded to your computer.
Note: Each email account is usually designated with 10-20MB of space, so be sure you do not leave large attachments on the server too long; after an account reaches its quota, it will not be able to receive any additional email until it is emptied.
Note: When using Horde webmail, you will need to delete AND purge email to completely remove it from the server (much like emptying a recycle bin in Windows). Until it is purged (emptied), the message is still taking up space.
Note: You cannot have your PC's email program open and be logged into your webmail account at the same time; the server will lock your account temporarily if you do (as a security precaution). The temporary lock will remain for about five to fifteen minutes after you have closed your PC's email program and logged out of webmail.
